Stamford ISD will no longer be offering the Summer Feeding Program due to low participation. For further information, please contact Reva York at 325-773-2705.

 

Oliver Elementary is looking for all 3, 4 and 5 year olds - If you have a child turning 3,4 or 5 by September 1st and you haven't  registered for the 2014-15 school year please contact Greg London at 325-280-1893 or Sandy Templeton at 325-665-2088 to pick up a registration packet.

 

JULY 25-27 - Wal-Mart Teacher Appreciation Day - Wal-Mart in Stamford will be having a drawing for a $25.00 gift card on July 25, 26, and 27 each day at 5:00. Teachers must have their school ID cards to sign up for the drawings. We will have free popcorn and cotton candy all three days 8 to 5. Teachers can use their receipts for the 3 days, and go online to register for an e-card to receive 10% back for their school supply list.

 

JULY 28-30 - We are having a Bulldog football camp July 28-30. It will be for 3rd-6th 8:00a.m.-9:00a.m and 7th-9th 9:30a.m-10:30a.m. Cost is $30.00. Contact Ronnie Casey, 325-456-7837.

 

AUG 2 - The New Hope Homecoming will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, 11:30 a.m. at the Billington home, 9327 FM 1226. If you plan to eat, call 370-1014 for a reservation and info.

 

AUG 6 - Oliver will have new student registration on Wed., Aug. 6th from 9 to 3 at Oliver Elementary. This if for students new to the district only. If you preregistered your student in April, you do not have to come back again. Please bring birth certificate, social security card and shot record with you.

 

AUG 9 - Celebrate the end of summer by having some fun in the mud! Plan now to run in the Mud Out Crime Mud Run, Saturday, Aug 9 at Stamford Marina on the south side of Lake Stamford. Sponsored by Clear Fork Crime Stoppers, the run will offer a choice of 5K or 3K  courses. Register now at active.com. Reduced entry fees for early registration and for entering a team of 3 or more. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities welcome. Come out, have a good time, and help support a good cause. All proceeds go to efforts to make our communities safer.
