It is an end of an era as Stamford Healthcare System regrets to announce that Dr. Michael Hart, M.D. will be closing his practice at Stamford Health Clinic effective October 24, 2014. Dr. Hart will be moving to the Dallas- Ft. Worth area to work in episodic care at Complete Emergency Care in Ft. Worth and Southlake.
Dr. Hart moved to Stamford upon completion of his residency in 1996 and has given his full measure of devotion to his patients and the community for over 18 years. He has served in virtually every local medical leadership position including Chief of Staff at Stamford Memorial Hospital, Medical Director at Stamford Health Clinic, Emergency Department Director, and Director of the EMS. Dr. Hart has also been an instrumental part of every aspect of the community through his continued support of the youth, his church and the Texas Cowboy Reunion.
“Dr. Hart has been a vital part of Stamford Healthcare System for over 18 years and we are truly grateful for his dedication and service to our community,” said Rick DeFoore, CEO of Stamford Healthcare System. “He will be greatly missed and we wish him all of the best in his new endeavor.”
